Sperm can live in your body for 3-5 days -- the egg dies within a day. So, there is roughly a 6 day range when sex can lead to conception and from there to pregnancy. (It only takes a few hours for the sperm to swim from the vagina into your tubes, so if there IS an egg waiting, conception could occur within a few hours.)<br><b>References : </b><br> That would depend on when you had sex relative to when you ovulate.
